Pair of mid-19th Century French bronze cavalier figures. True to the court attire of the 1600s, these cavaliers, or high-society men of the royal court, are bronze cast to depict the excessively ornate fashion of the time with their ribboned stockings, pointed jerkins, and ruffled sleeves.
