Iannicelli, Antonio – “Mediterranean Scene”

Antonio Iannicelli was born in Naples, Italy in 1952. His paintings revolve around the seascapes and and coastal regions of Italy, but rather than an exact or cold rendition of the natural world, Iancelli imbues his scenes with vibrant emotion. Standing in front of one of Iancelli’s landscape is a somewhat surreal experience, transporting the viewer right into one of his beautiful terra-cotta-roofed Italian edifice overlooking the almost unreal cerulean of the Mediterranean Sea.
