Robertson – “White Egret”

During his travels along the eastern shore of the United States, Robertson’s study of birds and the art of John James Audubon became a personal obsession, focusing primarily on coastal birds. His paintings have a subdued serene quality, yet his intent focus on the movement and plumage of his avian subjects in their natural environments inspires a sense of reverence for the natural world.
